i hate those stick figure family stickers

i have never really liked the whole car sticker trend. first it was the calvin-peeing-on-everything and the “mean people suck” stickers, and it didn’t end there. for the last year or so, the “stick figure family” sticker has grown extremely popular.
yeah, you’ve seen them: stick figures of the dad, mom, son,
daughter, and even the family pet. under each family member it reads “dad”, “mom”, “billy”, “lisa”, “fido”, etc. sometimes they even put the family name above the stick figures (i.e. “the smith family”).
now, i have two major issues with these stickers:
1) the most obvious is that they are ugly and rather large. i mean, come on, they practically take up the whole bottom portion of the back window depending on the size of the family! that could make for dangerous driving conditions.
2) i don’t know about you, but i wouldn’t want total strangers knowing my children’s names– both first and last. that’s giving some creepy old man a helping hand in trying to lure your kids into his van. and what if the creep sees the astrovan parked outside of your house? now he know your kids’ names AND where they live.
and honestly, if you are trying to merge into my lane and you have that
sticker, i’m not letting you over.

To be honest, I have never seen those stickers before (the family ones). It must be a California thing.
We keep it safe in Florida. We like to know if there is a baby on board, and that’s it.

dude, my neighbor, my high school mate, my driveway hockey player man…..
im sure you can find 30 things you hated about lincoln, the driveway, the way i killed jokes, and how we didnt always make johnny cry….

you people need to grow up. I have family stickers on my car and so what. It’s what i like not what you like. for the person that made that comment, that you would not let the person merge into the traffic let that person be be me. because you are sick in the brain to do something like that over a f**KING STICKER GROW UP

Fair enough Daniela, but the site’s called “knowwhatihate” and lyou need to grow up if you really believe the guy would not let someone in front of him because of the sticker. Set up your own blog praising the damn stickers.

i live in florida and i have seen the family stickers. i don’t hate the stickers but i agree with not putting your name or the names of your children on your car. the world is not safe and you must be careful. whatever floats people’s boat is their business but keep your children safe. i hate people who don’t use common sense.
