i hate fees

know what i hate? i hate the extra fee fast food restaurants charge for using a debit card. usually it is about $.79 - $.99. but, i have found out that if they accept credit card purchases always use your credit card. they do not charge that fee for credit cards, only debit!

i hate heelys!

you know what i hate? those horrible wheelie shoes called “heelys.” for
those of you that don’t know what heelys are (lucky you), they are
sneakers with a single wheel in the heel so that you can roll on them.
yeah, they’re like half-assed rollerblades and, just like rollerblades,
i think they need to be banned in public places. mostly kids wear them
but if you go to the web site, an adult is actually shown using the
shoes, which is very upsetting to me. kids will buy anything. adults,
on the other hand, should have some sense. for one, why do you have to
roll around anyway? is it that hard to walk? and it’s not like a
skateboard that can carry you long distances with little effort. these
heelys literally roll for about two or three feet, which is usually
about the time when the stupid kid has to stop because he or she has
either come across a wall, or another person (with whom said stupid kid
crashes into said other person). there have been many times where i
literally see these kids rolling around just running into people. the
kids wearing these are able to walk, so they should walk. having these
wheelie shoes that cause them to fall and crash is just reversing and
throwing away all their years of hardwork put into learning to be
bipedal. i don’t understand why parents buy their kids these shoes.
they seriously are dangerous. i’d like to see what happens when they’re
walking down a hill or ramp and accidently lean too much on their
heels, the wheel springs into action, and the kid goes flying down the
slope. one other thing i have against these is that they are just plain
ugly, by anyone’s standards. they are bulky and look like the payless
shoe source version of a skechers shoe (and who wants a bootleg
skechers shoe anyway? no wait, who wears skechers still?)

to make matters worse, there is something called “team heely,” which is
actually endorsed by the company and is on their official web site.
what this is is apparently a team of idiots that do rollerblade-like
tricks, but with these shoes. might sound cool, but its not because
with rollerblades you have to master the art of constantly rolling on 8
wheels. team heely, on the other hand, just requires that you know how
to walk and lean back on your heel to activate the two wheels (one
wheel per shoe)… and if you fuck up a trick then nothing can happen
because you’re ultimately just freakin WALKING ON YOUR FEET. yeah you
can trip, but that danger comes with simple walking.

i did a bit of research and found out some of the “tricks” these
heely-lovers can do. one trick that was labeled “hardest trick” for
someone that has been “heeling” (as they call it) for FIVE YEARS is
called “cheating death.” now, you’re probably like, “omg, cheating
death? that is freakin awesome!” but no, it’s not. the trick? rolling
backwards on one foot. um, how is that cheating death? and as i
explained before, if you’re doing this trick and think you’re gonna
fall or hurt yourself in anyway, all you have to do is put your foot
down (literally) and you’re safe. at least rollerblading requires skill
and there is a chance to get hurt, which makes for an exciting
spectator sport. “heeling” is a joke, and i am embarrassed for whoever
is on team heely.
