Don’t get me wrong here. I enjoy learning, and educating myself. What I hate is programmed study, especially where it comes with a “it’s good for you” and “it’ll make you better off in the future”.
But most formal education doesn’t prepare you for life. It just tries to fool you into believing that you will do better financially with certain choices.
You may, or may not. But luck probably has a bigger part to play, in that. And unless your knowledge and expertise are of the one in a million genius level, it’s more of people skills and EQ that matters. Not your IQ, and certainly not that bit of rote learning.

Forget about the $10 that article writers are willing to compromise for. Would you be willing to work for one cent?
That’s right. One solitary cent, for work that could take between 10 minutes to a day.
Apparently, there are. How else could you explain these jobs on Amazon’s Mechanical Turk?
Just think about it. Even at a cent for 10 minutes, that’s 6 cents an hour. Or a little less than half a dollar for a day’s work, considering an 8 hour day. If you make it 17 hours, then you make a whole buck. (7 hours for you to sleep, eat, and all other things you do!) Working for a year, you could make the princely sum of $365?
Yes, there are people poorer than that. According to the Globalrichlist, 9% of the world’s population earns less than that.
But we’ve left out one set of expenses. The computer, and internet access. Considering that more than 70% of the world doesn’t use the internet, there’s no way this is attracting the world’s poor and desperate.
But MTurk’s listings show there are people who’ll work for that rate anyway.
Even though making cents doesn’t make sense.

How long does it take you to write an article? A good article… an article someone would want to read?
Now keep that amount in mind.. now sell that article for $10 and figure out how much you are making an hour..
Now.. add in marketing time.. time you spent actually making the deal… now again.. how much are you making per hour?
If you accept every offer, or jump on every offer in forums.. then you’ve created a buyers market..
I cringe everytime I see someone sell a few hours work for $10 .. geeeez guyz.. c’mon! Do you know how much these websites make off of your work? .. More than ten bux !

What’s worse than a sloppy home? A sloppy home page! At least, there’s the excuse of expense or cost involved with maintaining a home - people do have money troubles.
But there’s no excuse for a slipshod homepage. Error messages all over, poor color coordination, misaligned columns, and the like. Not with all the resources available on the net. You can find a directory of web resources, that could provide the novice with all that’s required.
Need a good template? It’s there, for free. Clipart, tools, scripts, counters ?? Yes, Sir! News items or other content? Just a search away.
Or looking for other sites, for ideas? Use a directory, or randomly surf the net - or even search as required. It doesn’t take too much effort, and in most cases, it’s available for free.
With all of this available, why would you still want to be a slob? Unless, of course, that’s your choice.
